The Mobile Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications across different platforms (iOS or Android). They collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality, user-friendly, and performant mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobile App Development: Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Programming: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using programming languages such as Swift/Objective-C (for iOS) or Kotlin/Java/React Native (for Android).
- UI/UX Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs into code, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
- Integration: Collaborate with back end developers to integrate mobile apps with server-side systems via APIs.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of applications, identify and fix technical issues and bugs.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize mobile applications for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
- Platform Guidelines: Stay updated with platform-specific guidelines and best practices for iOS and Android.
- Documentation: Document code, technical specifications, and provide necessary documentation for the app.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages like Swift, Objective-C (for iOS), Kotlin, Java (for Android).
- Experience with mobile app development frameworks and tools (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio).
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX standards and design patterns.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of web services.
- Understanding of version control using Git or similar systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
